Cooler weather. No bugs. The pumpkin pie aroma wafting from your campfire, and the warmth of hot chocolate in your hands. It must be fall camping season!

These six parks will be extending their camping season this year:

Whether you’re tent camping, driving an RV, or staying in the park’s luxurious cottage, you’ll find fall coziness everywhere at Balsam Lake.

Follow the Lookout Trail for a panoramic view of the fall colours, or enjoy the crunching of leaves beneath your feet along the Plantation Trail.

Looking to do some late season boating?

Located 10 minutes west of Orillia, Bass Lake is the perfect spot to enjoy some time on the water. Breathe in the crisp fall air along the shoreline or sit back and catch a gorgeous sunset.

Presqu’ile is your dream destination for all things birding — spend the fall migration here!
