Nature is calling – are you listening?

When’s the last time you really appreciated your surroundings?

This summer has flown by. It’s been difficult to make time to get outside and experience the rejuvenating effects of nature.

Luckily, Healthy Parks Healthy People’s 30×30 Challenge happens every August! It’s a month-long opportunity for you to get outside into nature for 30 minutes for 30 days in a row.

Need a boost?

We know that spending time in nature does amazing things for our minds and bodies. Nature-lovers have been taking advantage of these healing properties for ages!

Starting a healthy nature habit can improve the quality of our lives in many ways: lowered stress, anxiety and blood pressure, improved mood, sleep, and creativity.

It’s a whole lot of fun too!

Nature is calling you — say ‘yes’!

It’s the best time to focus on the importance of good health, taking care of ourselves, and taking care of others.

One easy way to boost your health is to get outside.

Nature is calling you to commit to 30 minutes outside for 30 days – think of it as a cheap and easy good-health gift you can give to yourself and your family!

The greener the space, the more benefits you will feel, but spending even 30 minutes in your local park will do wonders for your health.

Wherever you take on the 30×30 Challenge, don’t forget to follow local public health advice and physical distancing guidelines!

Up for the challenge?

With all the benefits nature provides, it’s a no-brainer to tackle the 30×30 Challenge wherever you live!

Take a hike, bike, or stroll. Try a picnic in the park or a socially distanced walk with a friend (canine or otherwise!). Try outdoor yoga or just find a quiet spot to sit and appreciate the sights and sounds of nature. It’s all beneficial!

There’s lots of proof why outdoor activities are better on our YouTube channel.
