Ontario Parks is thrilled to continue to welcome more and more visitors to parks every year. The busier we get, however, the more challenging it is to book a campsite — especially on those coveted summer weekends!
We want to ensure that all those who wish to visit their favourite parks have the opportunity to do so.
Ask and you shall receive, park-lovers!
Ontario Parks is creating up to 300 new campsites and upgrading approximately 800 existing sites with electrical service at several parks — the largest addition of new campsites in 50 years!
More campsites at popular parks!
Nothing beats the feeling of scoring a site at your dream camping destination! Even more campsites means your odds of booking on a busy weekend just increased!

The first wave of new campsites is about to open for booking!
- 25 new non-electric sites at Killarney Provincial Park
- 17 new non-electric sites at MacGregor Point Provincial Park
- 25 new electric (and/or newly electrified sites) at Driftwood Provincial Park
Reservations for these sites open on June 15 at 7:00 a.m. EST. for arrivals beginning June 26.
We’ve got the power!
Whether providing air conditioning in your RV on hot summer days or charging your devices to get the perfect picture, campsites with electrical services offer creature comforts at your “home away from home”.
That’s why we’re adding electrical services to 800 campsites around the province!

Electrical upgrades will be made at:
Happy camping!
